Review Film "X-Men: Apocalypse" (2016)

X-Men: Apocalypse adalah sequel seri ke-9 film X-Men yang mengangkat tema Action(Sci-Fi), mungkin bagi pecinta film Marvel sudah menunggu film ini sejak beberapa bulan bahkan tahun sebelum launching filmnya. pada sequel X-Men kali ini berlatar belakang tahun 1983 di Egypt, Ohio dan beberapa tempat lainnya. Di awali dengan scene dari Apocalypse mutan pertama yang paling kuat dan disembah sebagai dewa, beberapa orang yang percaya terhadap dewa mengadakan ritual yang membangunkan Apocalypse dari hibernasi ribuan tahun yang memutuskan untuk mengakhiri dunia dan mengambil alih dunia.

Di sisi lain, Professor Chales Xavier yang telah lama mendirikan sekolah untuk para mutan (Xavier's School for gifted youngsters) yang berada di NY bertujuan untuk mengajari para mutan muda untuk dapat mengontrol power yang dimiliki setiap mutan sehingga dapat kembali ke dunia seperti manusia yang lain. Professor X percaya bahwa mutan dapat hidup berdampingan dengan manusia. tetapi pada saat itu manusia masih takut dengan keberadaan mutan dan menganggap mutan sebagai weird thing sehingga para mutan juga takut untuk mengaku kalau dirinya mutan. 

Apocalypse yang ingin menghancurkan dunia mencari beberapa mutan (Empat Horsemen) yang kuat dan dapat dijadikan sekutu untuk mengambil alih dunia, Storm, Psylocke dan beberapa mutan lainnya berhasil diambil alih dan di perkuat oleh En Sabah Nur (Apocalypse)

Kelanjutannya bisa nonton sendiri filmnya ya guys, film ini sangat menarik untuk standart film Marvel. Nah, kalo pecinta film-film produksi marvel pasti pada setia nonton sampe credit title habis karena biasanya ada post-credit scene yang didalamnya tersimpan pesan untuk film Marvel selanjutnya. Sedikit bocoran dari gue ya, gue saranin jangan di baca sih biar lebih seru nontonnya. Pada post-credit scene ada beberapa orang khusus yang datang kedalam fasilitas proyek eksperimen khusus "Waepon X" dan mengambil cairan biru yang berlabel "Waepon X". Kemudian cairan tersebut dimasukkan kedalam sebuah koper khusus yang didalamnya terdapat botol sample cairan-cairan lain yang memiliki warna yang berbeda-beda. Ketika koper tersebut ditutup, di bagian depan koper terdapat label "Essex Corp".

Nah, untuk para pembaca setia komik X-Men pasti gak asing dengan nama Nathaniel Essex atau lebih dikenal dengan Mr. Sinister, salah satu musuh yang sering dihadapi X-Men. Essex juga menjadi kunci lahirnya mutan Cable, anak dari Cyclops dan kloning dari Jean Grey. Seperti itulah sedikit pengetahuan yang dapat dipahami dari kata "Essex Corp" tapi gue sangat saranin buat yang belom nonton segera di tonton filmnya karena sangat bagus, gue suka sama perannya Jennifer Lawrence yang berperan sebagai Ravel (Mystique) sebagai pahlawan di sequel ini dan jadi inspirasi dari Storm dan gue juga suka dengan scene-scene slow motionnya Perer Maximoff (Quicksilver) yang bikin bingung dia ngaku kalau dia anak kandung dari Magnetto hahaha. Gue sangat mengapresiasi film directed Bryan Singer ini, hebat sekali bisa direct film sebesar ini yang menghabiskan biaya produksi hingga mencapai $178 million, untuk rating buat film ini gue kasih 8/10.
